• Usage data: Pages you visit, searches you perform, listings you view, and features you use.

• Location data: We may collect general location information (such as city or region) to show you equipment available nearby. We use this solely to improve your marketplace experience — for example, displaying equipment listings in your area. We do not track your precise GPS location.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes — and only these purposes:

• Operating the marketplace: Displaying listings, connecting buyers with sellers, and processing inquiries.
• Showing nearby equipment: Using your general location to surface relevant equipment listings in your area.
• Sending notifications: Alerting you about new messages, inquiry responses, and important account updates.
• Listing match alerts: Notifying you when new equipment matching your interests or saved searches becomes available.

3. We Do NOT Sell or Share Your Data

We work with a limited number of third-party service providers to operate the platform. Currently, the only third-party service that processes user data is:

• Stripe — for payment processing (see Section 5 below). Stripe maintains its own privacy policy and is bound by PCI DSS compliance standards. Stripe provides the same or greater level of data protection as described in this policy.

We do not use third-party advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics services that share your personal information with outside parties.

5. Payment Information

All payment processing on Requip Market is handled by Stripe. Here's what you should know:

• We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details. This information is transmitted directly to Stripe and never touches our servers.
• Stripe is a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest level of security certification in the payments industry.
• Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• For any payment, billing, refund, or merchant-related issues, please contact Stripe directly through their support channels.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:

• Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion request.
• Listing data: Active listings are displayed publicly. Deleted listings are soft-deleted (hidden from public view) and permanently removed after 90 days.
• Messages and inquiries: Retained while your account is active to maintain conversation history.
• Usage data: Retained in aggregated, non-identifiable form for analytics purposes.

We may retain certain information as required by law (e.g., tax records, fraud prevention) even after account deletion.

7. How to Revoke Consent & Request Deletion

You have the right to withdraw your consent and request deletion of your data at any time. Here's how:

• Delete your account: Visit your account settings to delete your account. This will remove your personal data from our active systems.
